Davit-launched inflatable life raft is more suitable for elderly passengers, women and children than other life rafts. Because it can be opened on the deck, when the elderly, women and children with limited mobility enter, the life raft can be lifted by a crane and placed smoothly into the sea. This us also the origin of its name the davit-launched inflatable life raft.
The life raft is made of rubber and water-proof oxford cloth. It has different capacity and can load 12-35 persons.
It has passed SOLAS 1974 standard and certificated by CCS, EC. The life rafts are equipped with A pack/B pack life saving equipment for supporting passengers' basic needs.
There has some reflective tapes on the raft and the color of liferaft is international orange for increasing the chance of being discovered and rescued in the dark at sea.
According to the customer's needs, there are also other rescue equipment for life raft can be equipped like HRU(Hydrostastic Release Unit), life raft cradle, life jacket, life buoy etc.
