Compared to the throw over type liferafts, the Davit launched Inflatable liferaft is more friendly to the old and child when faced the emergency rescue, and it is to be connected to the single arm liferaft davit and then inflated, thus enabling the evacuees to board the life raft from ship deck.
The D type inflatable liferafts hang life-raft at ship side by launching equipment, go on board from the vessel deck when inflate and to fall it down on the sea by davit. In case of failure on davit launching, the liferaft is also designed to be inflated automatically in the same way as throw-overboard type.
