Thermoplastic Spray Road Marking Paint
Thermoplastic road marking paint consists of petropols, EVA, PE wax, glass bead ,fillers materials, which is solid powder condition at normal temperature.
it is heated to 180~200 degrees by heat fusing pot under constyuction, it will appears flowage, coating the paint to the road surface and will form hard film, It has full line type, strong wearing resistance and other flowage.
Sprinkling reflecting glass micro beads on the surface under construction, it has good reflecting effect at night.
It is widely applied in highway and road. According to the environment used and the different construction requirements, we can supply different types of paint for our customer option.
FEATURES:
Strong adhesion strength: Resin content is reasonable, and it was added special rubber elastomer in the primer, so it has strong adhesion strenght. If the construction technique is reasonable, there is no peeling off.
Good cracking resistance: Thermoplastic line marking is easy to form crack because of the temperature variation of thermoplastic line marking.
Bright color: The paint adopts the color of the highest level with reasonable proportion, so it has good weather resistance and will not change color if long term exposure.
High usage ratio: The major feature of paint is low density, big volume and high usage ratio.
Good dirt resistance: The dosage and quality of PE wax are the key point of impacting the dirt resistance. PE wax of Exxon is our first choice for many years.

ATTENTION:
To sure the working environment clean and dry, suggestions the construction temperature be above zero(if the construction temperature is too low should be emprove the matiel temperature)
Temperature should be controlled between 180~200 degrees when melted the paint, be fully mixing after melting, in order to reflect the performance of paint, heat preservation for 3-5 minutes after discharging.
The primer processing should fully,stay at the primer to dry fully before coating. for the new cement road surface, need to delay three months to construct or twice processing with the primer, otherwise easy to peer off.
If consturction with more vehicles, after process the primer, should place the roadblock prevent the wheel rolling and take away the primer leave dust, otherwise easy to appear part marking peel off.

PROCESS | |
A. Clean | Clean intended application area thorough |
B. Layout | Outline the area where the marking will be placed using titanium dioxide |
C. Apply primer | Apply the appropriate amount of primer needed for the surface |
D. Melt | Heat paint to be melted using pre-heater |
E. Position A | Pour melted paint into big container of road marking machine |
Position B | Pour glass beads into small container of road marking machine |
F. Mark | Mark thermoplastic line using road marking machine |
G. Cool | Thermoplastic line will cool within a period of time |
ATTENTION |
A. Ensure road surface is stable, dry and clean |
B. It is better to apply above 0°C |
C. Heating paint in the pre-heater should be between 180-220 °C |
D. Lift the heating temperature properly when working in a low temperature environment |
E. Mixing the melted paint evenly and keeping it warm for 3-5 mins before marking the road |
F. Allow primer to dry before applying paint |
G. Primer is applied a few wider than the width of the thermoplastic line |
H. New asphalt and concrete must be allowed to cure for a minimum of 30 days before applying paint |
