1.Modular construction

The bottom frame components(bezel and baseplate) can be connected by latches and aluminum joints, allowing for longer channels to be laid when deployed linearly.

The sides and seating surface of the manhole cover are machined so that the metal-to-metal joint surface tolerance is 0.2mm.
