Easty D5.5 is a roomy and stable multi-purpose kayak, developed to satisfy the needs of beginners and intermediate paddlers.
Designed to minimize resistance, both beginners and experienced paddlers will be surprised at the efficiency and the level of control achieved by the carefully balanced trackability and a good size rudder.
The kayak is wide enough for the paddlers to enjoy a reassuring initial stability, but not so wide that it compromises the comfort or stroke efficiency.
The initial stability lets beginners feel safe and snug and the secondary stability leaves competent paddler in command.
The tricky part when developing a double is to get enough load capacity for two paddlers with camping equipment or three with day touring gear, and still have the kayak perform without any load.
